As an IT sales person you will take a leading role in client engagements and new business opportunity creation in our Professional Services business.   • Minimum 5 years’ experience with Information Technology

Main responsibilities

  • Install, implement and configure MYOB Exo & MYOB Advanced Payroll systems
  • Customer training at site and in house

  • Maintain knowledge of software and legislation changes

You are a passionate payroll professional or consultant, with at least 3 years of experience.  You have excellent people and communication skills, and enjoy working with new people every day.  You enjoy designing solutions to benefit your customers.  You are tech savvy, you understand the payroll processes and can work with other payroll professionals.

ERP Support Consultant

Due to continued growth, Axsys is currently looking for an ERP Support Consultant to join our Hobart office. To succeed within this supportive team, you will need to be motivated, driven and proactive. Above all you’ll need a positive attitude to match the pace of the team

  • Ability to provide support for clients via phone and /or remote access
  • Actioning and managing support tasks raised by the client
  • Ability to scope, design, implement and document custom solutions, including evaluation of business and user process and specifications
  • Designing, developing and implementing reports and forms using Report Writers and SQL coding
  • Assisting clients to utilise ERP software functionality
  • Great at building relationships with clients, colleagues and stakeholders
  • An IT savvy self-starter who is time-efficient, able to prioritise and multi-task, target driven and highly accountable
  • An excellent communicator
  • Able to provide support to external clients, including creating and maintaining customisations to support their business needs
  • A problem solver who is resourceful and inventive
  • Have  an understanding of SQL programming language or similar (Java, C++)
  • Desirable – Certified and/or experienced in SQL and Advanced Report Writing

Software Developer

If you are looking for a challenging role that offers broad exposure to different technologies, then this could be the job for you.

As a Software Developer you will you will work with the various internal teams and clients to build and maintain in-house developed applications and customisations for MYOB Exo (on-Premise SQL based) and MYOB Advanced (Cloud SaaS C# ASP.NET). These range from small customisations right through to front line business applications in Warehousing, Manufacturing and Inventory management.
  • 3+ years commercial development experience utilising Microsoft .NET technologies – C# and ASP.NET
  • Solid experience in web technologies including HTML, XML and web services (SOAP and REST Based)
  • WinForms and WPF VB.NET experience (for legacy application maintenance)
  • Strong proven skills in database design and development using Microsoft SQL Server 2008+ and T-SQL stored procedures
  • To work successfully with other developers as part of a small, focused team
  • Analytical skills and driven by quality
