ERP Pre-Sales Technical Consultant – MYOB Advanced

As the Advanced Pre-Sales Consultant – you will assist in pre-sales activities and provide technical direction to the sales team. Presenting MYOB Advanced solutions to prospective clients in a compelling way that demonstrates the value of the MYOB Advanced suite and how it can solve their specific business problems.

We are currently seeking an ERP Pre-Sales Technical Consultant to join our Melbourne or Sydney Team.

 

  • Validated experience in an ERP Pre-sales function within a national vendor 
  • Solid understanding and proven track record within the cloud SaaS environment  
  • Review and understand sophisticated technical and business challenges, and align solutions which deliver measurable business benefits and value 
  • Be able to drive technical and sophisticated solutions to closure, in line with sales pipeline objectives to achieve a balance of customer and company objectives 
  • Industry experience, across Manufacturing, Wholesale, Distribution or Construction 
  • Creative thinking and outstanding problem-solving abilities, that sees your inventive approach generating new insight and building on existing concepts 
  • Demonstrated success in building credibility with customers and internal teams 
  • Strong communication skills – written and verbal 
  • Preparing and delivering product demonstrations to business and technical audiences in co-ordination with the responsible BDM or AM
  • Providing subject matter expertise to the Sales Team
  • Providing the Sales team with end-to-end MYOB Advanced technical solution support from lead qualification, solution design, through to hand-off off to the Delivery Team via the Sales Handover
  • Create and maintain relevant technical sales tools such as demonstration sites and datasets
  • Providing technical and functional direction and input during the sales cycle
  • Drive key customer meetings and workshops to achieve the core outcomes required by the BDM’s
  • Assisting with RFP responses, Scope of Works, Work Breakdown Structures and other related documents in the pre-sale’s environment
  • Maintain extensive knowledge of the ERP landscape and how to position our solutions to optimise our sales engagements against our competitors

Main responsibilities

Software Developer

If you are looking for a challenging role that offers broad exposure to different technologies, then this could be the job for you.

As a Software Developer you will you will work with the various internal teams and clients to build and maintain in-house developed applications and customisations for MYOB Exo (on-Premise SQL based) and MYOB Advanced (Cloud SaaS C# ASP.NET). These range from small customisations right through to front line business applications in Warehousing, Manufacturing and Inventory management.
  • 3+ years commercial development experience utilising Microsoft .NET technologies – C# and ASP.NET
  • Solid experience in web technologies including HTML, XML and web services (SOAP and REST Based)
  • WinForms and WPF VB.NET experience (for legacy application maintenance)
  • Strong proven skills in database design and development using Microsoft SQL Server 2008+ and T-SQL stored procedures
  • To work successfully with other developers as part of a small, focused team
  • Analytical skills and driven by quality
